METALISTAS LT UAB offers a wide range of fastening elements used for joining wooden constructions. We have been producing fastening elements from certified zinc coated sheet and stainless steel for more 20 years. Joining wooden constructions by timber connectors saves time and money, timber (more than 38 per cent), also makes timber preparation and installation easier, guarantees stability and reliability.
Our advantages – the quality and wide range of our products. The products are suitable for professionals and amateurs.
We design and manufacture the technological equipment ourselves.
Production features
The standard elements thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 3 mm, the angle brackets width is up to 160 mm, that of the plates - up to 200 mm.
Timber connectors are made from zinc coated sheet DX51D+Z (standard EN 10204 – 2.2); Rm = 360 – 510 N/mm2; the zinc coating weight is 275 g/m2).
For constructions with a long lifespan we offer an innovation – totally resistant to corrosion stainless steel fastening elements (certified raw material AISI 304, Rm = 540 – 750 N/mm2).
During the production process, timber connector edges are protected.
Only certified raw materials are used.
We offer our clients:
-
Anchor nails, which are perfectly suitable for timber connectors and are more reliable than screw nails.
-
Display stands for our products. The stands are exhibited at the client’s shop.
- Customized products.
Technical date of the used materials
The metal fastening items are produced from high quality steel DX51D, 275 g/m² coated with zinc, which ensures their resistance to corrosion. Temporal resistance to break of this mark of steel is 360-510 N/mm². Then the load that can be carried by analyzed metal item can be calculated as follows:
P=RmxF
where:
Rm = 360-510 N/mm²
F-dangerous section area of the analysed metal item.
For instance: Plate EAN No. 4779018341530 (2x50xL):

In this case, dangereous section area is in cross-section planes A-A and B-B, i.e. where there are more holes. Any dangereous section, e.g. A-A, can be analysed. Its cross-section stretch is : F=2x(50-5-5-5)=2x35=70mm²;
In this case, force P, which the analysed element can carry, is:
P=(260-380)x70=18200-26600N;
In force kilograms it would be 1857-2714 . The anchor nails and anchor screws must be made of material with permissible cut tensions ≥250 N/mm².
